Premier League Deadline Day: 13 Possible Late Hour Deals

The Premier League has entered into the final 24 hours of its transfer window and there are a number of last minute deals that could still be pushed through with owners, directors, and managers bracing themselves.

The biggest deals if they come off would appear to be for Alexis Sanchez and Philippe Coutinho while overall there is around 400 million in play.

1. Alexis Sánchez (Arsenal > Manchester City?)
The Chilean’s future at Arsenal has turned into a soap opera over the summer with Sanchez making it clear that he wants to leave and play in the Champions League. There was talk he could go to Paris Saint-Germain while now it seems as though Manchester City is the more likely option.

2. Raheem Sterling (Manchester City > Arsenal?)
His name has been linked to the move for Alexis Sanchez with Arsenal wanting Sterling as a replacement. Manchester City would prefer to pay cash but it remains an option open.

3. Oxlade-Chamberlain (Arsenal > Liverpool?)
He appears sure to leave Arsenal in the next few hours but rather than to Chelsea who made an offer for him, he has chosen Liverpool where he would be given a more central role and the deal is expected to cost 40 million pounds.

4. Thomas Lemar (Monaco > Liverpool?)
His name has been linked to a number of clubs across Europe over the summer and it is Liverpool that now appears to be the most likely side for him to join and that too could trigger Coutinho’s exit to Barcelona. He has been valued at around 80 million euros by Monaco.

5. Virgil Van Dijk (Southampton > Liverpool?)
He has been the object of interest for some time by the top Premier League sides and Liverpool looks on the verge of signing him with the player putting in a transfer request.

6. Johnny Evans (West Brom > Manchester City?)
Guardiola continues to look to boost his defense after spending 140 million euros on Mendy, Walker, and Danilo with his preferred choice Jonny Evans from West Brom. The player also wants the move and go cold for 30 million pounds.

7. Fernando Llorente (Swansea-Chelsea?)
Antonio Conte wants to bring in the Swansea striker and the deal could be done for a figure in the region of 15 million euros.

9. Danny Drinkwater (Leicester > Chelsea?)
Another player like Mahrez that wants to leave a club that isn’t in Europe and he has requested a transfer request. An offer of 27 million pounds has been rejected.

10. Riyad Mahrez (Leicester > ?)
He appeared set for Roma with Monchi keen on the player but it has now gone quiet despite the offer of 30 million for him. He is keen to move though and so a last minute deal is on the cards.

11. Renato Sanches (Bayern > Swansea?)
First Bayern, then Milan and Liverpool before Swansea took the lead and brought him in on loan from Bayern Munich.

12. Serge Aurier (PSG > Tottenham)
The Paris Saint-Germain full-back has passed a medical at Tottenham and has moved to the London club as a substitute for Kyle Walker.

13. Jack Wilshere (Arsenal – ?)
Both the club and the player want a move to happen for the 25-year-old who was on loan at Bournemouth last season.
