Bristol City striker Tammy Abraham is destined for a move to the Premier League next season.

Having been linked with Everton and Leicester City, Abraham, who has scored 23 Championship goals since joining City on loan from Chelsea, is being eyed up for a summer move to newly promoted Brighton & Hove Albion, according to The Sun .

Abraham would be a welcome addition at the Amex Stadium, where Glenn Murray and Sam Baldock are the two main striking options.

Seagulls boss Chris Hughton is said to be a long-time admirer of Abraham and sees him as the player that could help the club establish themselves in the top flight next season.

Any move to Brighton is likely to be a loan switch, with Abraham will very much in Chelsea’s plans as a long-term prospect.

Hughton is hoping that the offer of a temporary switch that would benefit Abraham’s development could give him the advantage in the race to land Abraham, with Everton and Leicester both said to be eyeing permanent moves.

Not that the Brighton boss would have been happy with Abraham’s performance on Saturday, when he helped City pull off a shock 1-0 win at the Seagulls and deny them the chance to wrap up the Championship trophy in front of their home fans.
