There is still time to compete for awards
WHAT OCCURED? The Reds, who have recently placed themselves in the running for almost every major award, have struggled to maintain consistency throughout a season marred by injuries in 2022–23. Salah acknowledges that the team must increase its collective standards if it is to play its way back into form as Jurgen Klopp’s team now sits ninth in the Premier League table, 10 points off the top four and Champions League qualifying.
Salah told the official Liverpool website, “As I stated before, we have a really nice group. I’ve been on three or four teams, so I am aware of the distinctions between our squad and the others. We have an amazing group. The more seasoned players usually attempt to maintain their composure and simply tell the younger players to do the same. We constantly try to assist the new players. Even though the situation is difficult, I believe we can overcome it and improve it.
